Artisan soaps from Tambela are handcrafted from high quality vegetable oils and butters for an extravagantly moist and mild soap even for sensitive skin.
The natural glycerin in our soaps is one reason you will notice a luxurious difference. Glycerin is a natural emollient produced in soap making that improves lather and provides a soap that is gentler to the skin, but most commercial soap makers extract the glycerin to sell separately. We don’t.
Most commercial soaps also contain a high percentage of detergents that leave your skin dry and itchy. We don’t use detergents, just pure, unaltered, exceptional soap.
You won’t find any artificial colorants, fragrances or detergents in our soaps.
Many otherwise natural, handcrafted soaps use artificial fragrances to achieve a scent that we, frankly, find overwhelming. Our soaps derive their scent from pure essential oils distilled from nature. In the hot bath or shower, these volatile oils surround you with subtle aroma.
