Botanical Perfumes

Friends Collection

Created with, by and for friends, these special perfumes evoke the nature of the good people whose names they bear. Each perfume was a result of careful sniffing, note-taking, talking and laughing. Some came together immediately, some took a while but all are unique and lovely.

Alison
Alison is probably our best-selling perfume. People love the lively pepper and citrus smell out of the sprayer but it's the sweet heart with a touch of jasmine that holds them. The dryout is lovely and green and long-lasting. It's pure, sweet pleasure from start to finish.

Verdigris
Verdigris was created as a masculine companion to Alison but has been very popular with both men and women. It, too, is green and fresh with mandarin and clary sage but features unusual scents such as red myrtle, violet leaf absolute and ambergris. The tiniest amount of patchouli and sweet myrrh contribute to the earthy yet sweet dryout.

My Favorite Dreams

Chocolate, sea breezes, flowers, aromatic plants, raspberries. Made to capture a certain feeling, these perfumes are a rich variety of food notes, spices and woodsy fragrances. These perfumes arise from an idea, a dream, a thought or a place. There is, in my perfume workbook, a long list of many more.

CocoRo
Roses, pink lotus and geranium deliver flowers to your nose followed by warm spices such as clove and coriander. This delicious feast lingers with raspberry and vanilla enhancing the decadent smell of deep cocoa. A very sensuous touch of ambrette musk makes itself felt all the way to dryout.

C'inn
C'nn is a totally indulgent, lively and longlasting perfume with a kick to it. Cinnamon, cardamom and coriander at the heart with tuberose, blood orange and ylang ylang as top notes. Floral going to spice with a yummy rich, slightly peppery finish. The basenotes feature vetiver accented by tonka, sandalwood and styrax benzoin. People are already raving.

Sea Island
It took a long time and several visits to coastal South Carolina to perfect Sea Island, but I've captured a fresh ocean breeze, flowers on the air and a rich, deep finish reminiscent of sea marshes in the sun. With rosemary, cedar and lemon to start with, rich florals such as rose, ylang ylang and jasmine tied together with lemon (you can almost smell the magnolias). The rich finish is influenced by labdanum, oakmoss and patchouli with a touch of beeswax. Tinctures of local magnolia leaves and seashells carry the fragrances.
